COMMUNITY SERVICE

Edina Federated Women’s Club is a member organization of the General Federation of Women’s Club which is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Feds promotes volunteerism by its members throughout the year. Our focus is on enhancing the lives of women and children in our community.

If you’d like to be part of our community service efforts, consider joining Edina Federated Women’s Club.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE

On September 27, 2025, Edina Feds members will be supporting the GFWC International Day of Service by holding an event to support Sojourner. Feds will learn from Sojourner about the impact and needs of domestic violence survivors, and we will be packing welcome kits for survivors and their children. You can find more information about the International Day of Service here.

VOLUNTEERING IN OUR COMMUNITY

Feds undertake a variety of smaller volunteer projects as needs arise. Recent examples include giving holiday gifts to abuse victims at Cornerstone, creating Halloween gift bags for senior residents at Vernon Terrace, packing food for backpacks at Every Meal, giving gift cards to teenagers at Good in the Hood, donating clothes and toiletries to Sojourner, packing food at Feed My Starving Children, and making blankets for local charities.
