Founded on Friendship
Edina Federated Women’s Club (EFWC) was founded in 1969 by 17 women who wanted to engage in community service, establish new friendships and participate in social activities. Early meetings were held in local churches and in member’s homes. Since that time, the club has grown to include approximately 100 women who live or work in the southwestern suburbs of Edina, Hopkins, Golden Valley, Eden Prairie and Bloomington. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, September through May at St. Albans Episcopal Church at Valley View and Gleason Roads in Edina.
The EFWC has a Board of Directors and a set of By Laws and Standing Rules which govern, guide and determine agendas, social activities, and philanthropic projects and recipients.
